Welcome to the Child Reintegration Centre (CRC), where we provide child protection, family strengthening, counseling, and case management services in Sierra Leone to ensure we are unlocking potential and increasing the resiliency of our children, families, and communities to recover from crisis!
The CRC provides some of the most important services the United Methodist Church offers to care for the widow and the orphan in Sierra Leone, as we are called to do by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Sierra Leone Annual Conference is fully committed to the Family Empowerment Model.
This means our work will continue to focus on keeping children in safe and loving families, supporting reunification, preventing separation, and providing holistic case management. We will not return to older models that singled out individual children, but instead will build on the progress you have already made in strengthening whole families. We also affirm the important role of Transition Coaching and Mentoring (TCM) as CRC’s care reform arm. TCM is central to ensuring that our mission aligns with national and global efforts to advance family-based care.

Mission:
We humbly work to honor God, protect and transform lives as we:
- Undertake life-changing programs in the form of Family Strengthening, and community outreach/evangelism
- Shape family futures by assessing needs and providing services that lead to resilience, dignity and self-reliance
- Grow and develop God-fearing leaders for both the present and future generations
- Provide education and health care support to children as identified in the family care plan
- Provide education and health services to families members when needed as an orphan prevention strategy
- Provide opportunity for families to develop the spiritual, physical, emotional and social dimensions of their children
- Assess needs for temporary residential care and provide food, shelter, clothing, education and health care for children
- Commit to develop the leadership potential in children and caregivers
- Work to honor God in our words, thoughts and deeds
- Demonstrate the fruits of the spirit as recorded in Galatians 5:22-23
